Our battery powered wireless technology offers a reliable, user-friendly and affordable people counter solution. The counters have 2 sensors, a transmitter and receiver, which are positioned across an entrance (max 6m) and generate an infrared beam that is broken by people passing through.
The count data is transmitted every 10 seconds to the SNG Hub (Ethernet or 3G) that can be located anywhere within a 30 metre range (Repeater available to extend the range by another 30 metres). The SNG Hub stores the count data and forwards it as data packets at regular intervals to the 'IMMOTION™' reporting application hosted on-site or in the cloud.
The SNG Hub has the ability to collect the count data for up to 10 door counters.
Our 'IMMOTION™' software allows users to analyze the data by hour, day, week, month, and year in table or graph form. This valuable information reveals peak traffic periods to determine optimal operating hours and staffing requirements, and helps calculate customer/sales conversion ratios.
The 'IMMOTION™' software/database is optimized to handle multiple locations and/or people counters for easy viewing and overall analysis. The 'IMMOTION™' software/database is scalable so that additional SNG Hub's and/or door counters can be added at any time.

People Counting Sensors
Wireless People Counters
The wireless counters consist of 2 doorway sensors (transmitter and receiver) that generate an infrared beam across an entrance up to 6 meters wide. Each time a person walks through the entrance and breaks the infrared beam, the count increases by one. The wireless counters are bi-directional and will count both 'In' and 'Out' directions and provide totals for each direction.
The doorway sensors come with mounting plates that allow them to be fixed to a flat surface, using either screws or double sided mounting tape. The counters use standard AA batteries that will last up to 2 years with standard usage. Additional brackets can be purchased for more complex mounting configurations.
SNG Hub (Sensor Network Gateway)
SNG Hub (Sensor Network Gateway)
The SNG Hub wirelessly communicates with the people counting sensors to receive the latest, up to date, count data from one or more entrances within a 30 metre radius. Once received, the count data is automatically sent at regular intervals to the IMMOTION™ software where the count data can be viewed/exported by hour/day/week/month year totals.
The SNG Hub is available in two editions:
Ethernet (SNG10E) Edition
The Ethernet edition (SNG10E) is designed to connect directly into your local network via an Ethernet cable. The SNG10E is ideal for situations where there are Ethernet ports available within a 30 metre range of the entrance where the doorway sensors are installed. This device is able to collect count data from up to 10 door counters/entrances within a 30 metre radius.
3G (SNG3G) Edition
The 3G Edition (SNG3G) utilises a cellular 3G connection to communicate through to the IMMOTION™ software. The SNG3G is ideal for situations where there is no Ethernet ports available near the people counting sensors. This device is able to collect count data from up to 10 door counters/entrances within a 30 metre radius. The SNG3G requires a full size 3G SIM (not included) and has been tested with the Telstra 3G Mobile Data SIM - please contact us if you would like us to test with an alternative Australian 3G carrier.

Optional Extras:
Mounting Brackets
Mounting brackets for Wireless People Counters
Wireless people counters include a mounting plate as part of the product design for easy installation on flat surfaces. The following are a list of optional mounting brackets that can be purchased for Wireless People Counters
Metal Rotational Bracket (x2)
The versatility of the pivoting door sensor holder makes fitting simple in entrances where the mounting location may not be at right angles. These brackets are also provided in a black finish and supplied as a set of two.

Wireless Range Extender
Range Extender for Wireless People Counters
The Range Extender increases the Wireless Range between a Wireless People Counter (Network) and the SNG Hub.
With the Wireless People Counter (Network) solution the SNG Hub captures the counting data from one or multiple counters and uploads it to a local or remote server every minute. This requires the SNG Hub to be located anywhere within a range of up to 30 metres (unobstructed) from the Wireless People Counter. Implementing the Range Extender effectively increases the range between the SNG Hub and a single Wireless People Counter by up to a further 30 metre range.
The Range Extender has been designed for ease of installation: when a SNG device is found the LEDs display the signal strength of the detected device. We recommend the Range Extender is installed in a high position to improve the wireless signal via line of sight.

People Inside Venue/Building
Our people counters record the number of people entering and exiting a venue in real time. From this information, we can then calculate and display the total number of people in the venue at any one time. This feature is ideal for venues that are required to monitor capacity numbers in real time to comply with liquor licensing laws, venue capacity limits, etc.
The live count total is displayed on a custom styled web page that is compatible with any web-enabled PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
The live count total constantly updates higher or lower depending on the number of people entering or leaving the venue. In addition, a separate 'IN' and 'OUT' count total is collected and can be viewed in an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly breakdown.
As our people counters only count and do not identify people, the privacy of people passing through our counters is assured.
